Behind the scenes…

Tanah Folk originated in Byron Bay, Australia . Originally designing t-shirts as a side hustle whilst working for a successful local swimwear manufacturer as part of the sewing team. Travelling to Bali during this time I was further inspired to expand my brand & have some skirts made to photograph with the tee shirts. These were an instant sell out. Now cut to 2021, Tanah Folk continues to grow. I am proud to have a close knit team of artisans I work closely with in Bali, who are all now among my very closest friends, Tanah Folk supports charities in Bali and Australia, with 100% profits of the seashell accessories sold going to Sea Shepard Australia. I’m excited to have further products being added to the collection, and continue to be inspired , dreaming up new designs & ideas. Forever my inspiration will be long & lazy summer road trips, island hopping, colours of Australia and my beloved 2nd home of Bali.
